Safety, privacy, and terms
Safety notice
SeamLab Performance provides general supplemental exercise programming based on information the athlete enters about a planned throwing schedule. It does not diagnose, treat, rehabilitate, prevent, or cure an injury and does not determine whether anyone is medically ready or cleared to throw, pitch, exercise, or return to sport.
Stop using the workout and notify a parent or guardian if there is new or unusual pain, numbness, tingling, weakness, an acute injury, or a medical restriction. Contact an athletic trainer, physician, physical therapist, or other appropriately qualified professional as circumstances require. Emergencies require emergency services.
Follow restrictions and instructions from healthcare professionals, school personnel, teams, leagues, and coaches. Those instructions override any SeamLab assignment.
Privacy notice
Information collected
During the beta, SeamLab Performance may collect account information, athlete profile information, age, parent or guardian contact information and consent records, throwing schedules and pitch counts, workout completion, arm-feel responses, safety flags, feedback, subscription status, and basic technical information required to operate and secure the service.
How information is used
Information is used to provide and adjust weekly assignments, maintain accounts, respond to support and safety reports, improve the beta, manage access and subscriptions, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. SeamLab Performance does not sell personal information or use athlete health and workout information for targeted advertising.
Service providers
SeamLab Performance uses service providers to host the website, authenticate accounts and store data, and process payments. Those services process information as needed to provide their functions and under their own applicable terms.
Retention and choices
Information is retained while an account is active and as reasonably needed for beta operations, safety records, dispute prevention, legal compliance, and backups. A parent, guardian, or adult athlete may contact SeamLab Performance to request access, correction, or deletion. Some information may be retained when legally permitted or required.
Children
The beta is not available for independent use by children under 13. Do not create or use an account for a child under 13 until SeamLab Performance has implemented and verified an attorney-approved parental notice and verifiable-consent process. Users under 18 require a parent or legal guardian to complete the participation acknowledgment.
Beta terms of use
By using the beta, the adult athlete—or the parent or legal guardian for a minor athlete—confirms that submitted information is accurate, accepts the ordinary risks of physical exercise, and agrees to use the service only as general supplemental training.
Do not use SeamLab Performance to work around pain, injury, a medical restriction, pitch-count rule, team rule, or professional advice. The athlete remains responsible for deciding whether to participate in any activity with the responsible adult, coach, team, and qualified professionals.
Beta features may change, contain errors, or be temporarily unavailable. Access may be suspended for safety, misuse, nonpayment after the beta, or discontinuation of the service. Accounts may not be shared, scraped, reverse engineered, or used to copy or redistribute the exercise programming.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta is provided without a guarantee that it will prevent injury or produce a particular performance result. Nothing here waives rights that cannot legally be waived.
